Oisin, I posted that from a post by Adam last year; i have assumed by his silence that the plan did not bear fruit, worse luck for us!
I am trying to find out at what venues jason Ricci is playing with W Trout in October..I know he has been invited to the harmonica festival in Bristol but no one knows where and when he is playing or if he is for certain.
Anyone got any info??

Nick...we don't get very many of these guys over here and although I have seen a few of our own homegrown harp players like Steve Weston (my neighbour!!), Paul Lamb and Giles King, I would love to see Adam or Jason over here. I know I'll be telling everyone I know to come and see them.Here's hoping.
By the way Adam posted a few weeks ago that he might be coming so that's why I posted this one.

Oisin, if you can find your way to bristol on a thurs night you would be surprised and pleased to find so many harp players at a blues jam, without any ego probs..people are comin' from all over uk..
As the host Damien Chung says 'its an open session, any music goes as long as its blues!'
It's acoustic so just bring a,d,c,f,g mate (bring friends with any instrument)

No, I won't be coming to the UK this summer. Nobody has invited me--i.e., no promoter has said, "I'll pay your way and pay you teaching/performance fees in addition to that". But the truth is, I've got to dig in this summer and write my book on the devil and the blues. I'm touring for one solid week with Satan & Adam and we'll hit the Northeast--Philly, NYC, Portsmouth NH--but that's all I'm good for. I'm quite sure something will happen in the future. Meanwhile, if you've got any connection with promoters, particularly for Burnley and the other big UK blues festivals, please let them know that Satan and Adam are eager to make a splash over there and will entertain any and all offers.....

Unfortunately Adam the only thing I could invite you to is our local jam. However I'll try and contact some of the blues festivals and see what they say.
