Two things:

Blacknote's deal about combining hip hop and Blues

The violyn and harp are similar in the sounds they recreate.

Got me thinking about Black Violin. I think these two fellas are awesome! If your not in to DMX rapping, please fast forward to about :33 seconds to hear the violins kick in.

Black Violin just did a free show at the college I go to. I couldn't make it, but they got a real positive response from the students.

I think in order for the general public to see the harmonica as an actual instrument and not a toy, it needs to be played with all (or most) genres of music.
