Hey all,
In case anyone is interested; Chris “Buddha” Michalek’s website has just been released and you can view it here:
Buddhas Garden
The feature I am most excited about and hope everyone can utilize is the:
USER CLIPS
It materialized from my taking notice that a lot of people post on forums with “Hey check out my video” and that there really isn’t no one place for people to go and see their peers’ videos. So that’s what the section is – it’s an easy-access-one-stop-portal to view (and post) harmonica videos -- With ranking/reviewing. (linked from utube, so no re-uploading your videos)
And, of course without taking anything away from Adam’s wonderful forums – you may also want to check out the forums over there, what with the private messaging and all :)

Thanks for the words and review, Zhin. After all, that’s the point of announcing a website on a forum – to get feedback.
I believe your only quip with the website is not the design, but the color choice. While I don’t know what Chris thinks of the color in general, I do know he believes in the emotions that are representated by color (Ie. Red is anger) That’s why it’s smart to note that the website is in its infancy and is actively going through a re-design as well as the addition of features (based on what the community wants) which is why some things look unfinished.
It’s Buddha’s website, not mine. Had he thought it was a mockery he wouldn’t have allowed the release, but since you personally know things about Buddha, perhaps you can speak to him in private and see if you’re analysis is right. PS. Thanks for the tips on meeting my clients' needs – in the past I’ve designed websites for Daimler-Chrysler (Brazil), chop shops, and junkyards to name a few. I’m always willing to learn something new, so if you’d like to make a prototype or something along those lines of a better design – by all means feel free to do so and email it to me.

you guys!!
Oda is very correct that I attach emotions to colors but what he fails to mention is that didn't want red. When I talked him about it, that's when he said we should call it a beta sight or "work in progress" so the color remains red.
Oda the website looks nice.

Ok, thanks for the info.
Not everything has to be an argument dude, really. I resent what you said in the last post but I'm not going to indulge. I don't want rivalry or animosity, so thanks for your input.
I'll leave it at that.

Absolutely priceless. This has brightened up an otherwise overcast morning in the UK.
Oda - I bet you weren't expecting a business/design masterclass when you logged onto a blues harp forum right?
Still, consider yourself educated.

Feedback is one thing, condescension quite another - something I think you objected to from another member recently right?
"We're just 2 dudes who happen to work at home a lot, have the internet, and share similar intellectual interests that's all!" is particularly sublime by the way ;-)
