For those of you who haven't heard the album, here is a live version. I think the album version is better, but this is live and real "modern blues harmonica". If you watch nothing else, at least fast forward to about 6:00 minutes and listen to that solo. This man makes sounds come out of the harp that I've never heard. The liner notes to the album say he is just playing harp through a mic straight into an amp, with no pedals. Don't know if that is what we've got going on here in this live vid, but I think it is.
"For those of you who haven't heard the album" every one better have heard that album. any way that was amazing. the whole band was great. it was like delta meets chicago meets spiritual africa.

That's just a cool version!! I found the album version on itunes last year. My kids turned me on to a cool way of looking for music. I do a lot of little Walter songs, but try to mix it up how ever I can. My daughter told me instead of typing in Little Walter. Type in one of his songs and all versions they have will come up. Most of it isn't worth buying, but that song was!

A little hard to hear but it sounds like the note he holds as the guitar player begins (beginning of the video) goes on for a long, long time. Is he circular-breathing there? ---------- /Greg
