Okay, we had a pretty good turn out. 23 people voted on the contest entries. It's kind of a small voting pool, so there were several two-way and multi-way ties. Because of this we have not a top five, but a top SIX. The top six (in no order) are:

Thank you guys for the efforts you have put into this contest.
It was a great learning experience from my point of view and I feel like I have finally taken the first big step in putting my self out there under the microscope as it were.
I play at a regular Jam but when I watch it back I am always dissapointed that something is not right.
I was very supprised at the positive comments I got and the position I came.
All I can say is that the longer it is in your mouth the better you get.
A big thanks go out to all that took part.
All efforts were really good and it has caused at least people to think where they are going with this instrument.
I am clearly going after the big west coast and chicago sound and have been since day one.
If I can help anyone with anything then email me and I will see what I can give back. (russ.turner@ntlworld.com)
This is not me being big headed or anything like that.
I have asked loads of questions to alot of really great harp players about every thing I could think of and have made my own decisions on what I can do with the infromation myself.
I will have a drink on you Issac and thanks again guys for putting this together.

uhhggg. I need an advil. the tequila shots at the tend of the night were uncalled for, and over the top. Wow, I've heard of drunk dialing, but that was a serious drunk forum posting! I should always remember to turn off my computer BEFORE tying one on.

Nicely Nicely you guys, Top marks all round, I think all told this first MBH comp was a great success thanks to the main men for putting it all together( you know who you are ) Also thanks to Oldwailer for the foundation and lastly i would like to propose a new section in the next comp in honour of Germanharpist, That of most blatently stoned performance! I may be up for that one myself next time if i'm not crippled by arse blistering shits and projectile vomiting!
