Ok, here goes - I said before, the stage presence is great, it's really obvious that you're totally into the music and performance, which is always the best way of draw the audience in.
The one thing I think would be good for the solos here is perhaps a little more swing/synchopation. To my taste you're playing a little too on the beat, I always like a soloist - especially a quite percussive instrument like harmonica - to add something rhythmically to the groove.
Do you know a player by the name of James Harman? I was reminded of his sound when I heard this; his style is very retro, and all about locking into the collective groove rather than flashy solos. He's got effortless swing to his phrasing, all off quite striaghtforward 2nd position riffs. Well worth checking out if you don't know his music already.
Thanks for you feedback , always great to hear another persons views, yeah i'm really into rhythmic playing , I'm still developing my solos , but in the heat of the moment i tend to play it a bit safe, but with the band being stripped down , i7m playing to beef up the sound as well , but really depends on the song as well , sometimes i just play the odd fill, I will chaeck James Harmen out pronto! As far as set up , I use , 70's shure 520d cm elemnt through a snarling dogs blue doo overdrive into a fender custom vibrolux I'll be posting up more footage soon of other stuff we do. thanks again dude!
