I was giving Zack Pomerleau a lesson where I was testing his ears.
What am I doing in this clip? is there a difference between the two clips? What are the differences?

Hmm the penultimate note is different in the two clips. Sounds minor in the first and major in the second. Is that the difference?
And in the middle (around the 5th note) there's a difference too. In the first clip you hear some kind of fluctuation, like an additional note that doesn't come out very clear. That's missing in the second clip.

different harps. sounds like one is a sp20 or golden melody an the 2nd is a marine band.
the first one the notes blend together an the 2nd one is played cleaner. each note is heard better in the 2nd. also end of the 2nd one slides into a vibrato the 1st one hits it right away.

The 2nd clip is played in a key that is a half step higher than the first clip.

The first clip ends with the interval of an augmented 2nd; the second clip with a major 2nd. I say augmented 2nd as opposed to minor 3rd because the major 3rd has just been used in both clips, so the implied harmony is major.
I didn't check the other answers. Is there a prize for the right answer? Only joking Buddha.
When I used to teach piano, I always included at least 5 minutes aural training as part of the lesson. That's how I was taught. German Harpist is most correct but not quite there.
The first harp is a brand new, untouched out of the box Golden Melody and the other harp is one of my Buddha Marine Bands that is almost ready to be shipped.
What else?

The first harp is a key of A golden melody - out of the box.
The Second harp is a key of C Marine Band modified by yours truly.
They are nearly identical licks playing in the same key but on different keyed harps.
The goal is to be able to hear the nuances between the positions even though the notes are the same.
It's also a demonstration of my intonation and technique. I was saying it's a good way to practice intonation and a good way to learn positions.
All you have to do is pick up one harp and play something and then pick up another harp and play the exact same thing.
I just happened to have a C harp sitting on my bench so I used that one. I wouldn't have matter what key harp the other one was. I would have done the same thing if it were an A and F# harps.
I basically know all of the notes on most of the harmonicas. I knew draw 5 on the A is a D and so I started with the draw 4 on the C harp because that's a D as well. The line is something that is in my head and when things are internalized to the point that you can hear the line in the same key then you should be able to pick up any harp and play anything.
When playing music, you don't want the note labels in your head, you want the SOUND of that note in your head.

well i was right then. i said 1st was golden melody an 2nd was marine band. an the way you attack the vibrato on the last note is clearly different. but as far as the possitions i dont know enough about harp yet to have figured that out yet.

Wow Jon, nice! I can hear that final note thing, notice the notes before that, the bends are different.
