Buddha, as a matter of interest, can you give us a sense of what pointers you'd give, judging from what you've seen in the video? I mean, aside from 'Italian Rock shows are kinda fruity'?
with a player like that I will asked him what he wants to do and where he thinks I can help him. I will compare what he thinks vs what I think and figure out how to do both or at least investigate why he thinks what he does if I disagree.
Usually guys like that want to get more into jazz or learn something specific that I do. Though for some reason I tend to get a lot of people who want to learn how to play like Jason or Carlos.
My lessons are dynamic, organic and very fluid. I tend not to think about them until I am in the moment.
With his permission I will relay what we discussed after the lesson.
