it kind of thins out the tone and rises the pitch slightly.

not really an effect for blues, but cool none the less.

Now I see what it reminded me of. It kind of sounds like a old record that doesn't play at a constant speed (with the pitch changing...).

I can't tell what he is doing by muting reeds with his lips versus simply playing. Playing with the covers off tickles!

If you could figure out a mechanical way to do this you could patent it as a new kind of specialty harmonica! Has anyone ever invented a soft cover harmonica?

Sounds kinda cool. Interesting music, too. It sounded like it was in a (not A) Harmonic minor key but I could be wrong. What key was it in?
