Okay guys. You know that vibrato. I've heard it before, but mostly on the ten blow. It is true vibrato, not tremulent. Now, listen to this: http://www.rhapsody.com/william-clarke/now-that-youre-gone/now-that-youre-gone

Just click on the first song, it's free to listen. Listen to the solo, on the seven blow William Clarke does the SAME EXACT vibrato! I always had thought it was beautiful and 'sax-y' sounding. Then when I heard Chris I was like, woah, that sounds like William Clarke.

So...WHO else does it? Anyone? Older guys I mean, pre-1990's perhaps.

Hmmm, Zack are you sure Bill is playing the solo?

I could be very wrong but the solo sounds like Mitch Kashmar is playing it to me. To my ear it sounds to much like Mitch's tongue block playing on the top end, he has a very distinctive vibrato.

I've never heard Mitch, but you may be right, William is yelling in the back!!! Thought it was just overdubbing...SO MAYBE that IS Mitch!!!

my vibrato doesn't come from any of those guys. It comes from listening to Gideon Kramer

Ahhh yes. I'm just saying I knew I heard somebody do it. Other than you, Mitch, and Howard, I've never heard it. Maybe Will Scarlett?
