I have a B flat Marine Band Deluxe and a C Marine band with broken reeds, can anyone tell me if it would be possible to use a special 20 in the key of C for the donor harp.
I know that I will be able to tune the reeds up or down a bit, but I just want to make sure they are the right size before start pulling reeds of my working special 20.
I was thinking about using the small screws and nuts that they sell on harponline to fix the reeds, is that the best thing for the job or are there any self tapping screws that I should be using.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Should be exact same reed. They come from the same assembly line!

Thanks, that was what I thought because they were all german made.
Is it safe to assume that you can't use reeds from the chinese hohners on the german hohners?

What is a chinese Hohner? Is that way the MS line SUCK?

@ Chromaticblues: Chinese Hohners are the Blues Bender models. "Made in China" stamped right on the coverplate.

If you are going to buy the screws from harponline why not get the reeds from them at the same time? They cost 1/2 a euro each.
