Hi all , after a mad weekend up london in the eeast end , we attempted some little walter numbers and rocked them up a bit , well a lot , My wife had the camera near The guitar amp so the harp is a bit quiet but you can get the idea! any feedback welcome , I can take it , haha!
to gamblershand , yes it is in hoxton , a great night out , diverse crowd who like allsorts of old 50&s and 60&s sounds , from soul , Rand B rockabilly etc usually on once a month ,
I'm a fan of using rockabilly styles. I used to play in a band where we covered "Sure Like The Look" by a band called "Red Hot and Blue", a "Boogie Chillun" style number at a very fast pace. Now that is a great workout on the harp! Also love the stuff that Imelda May is putting out at the moment, which has a very heavy rockabilly influence.
