I haven't had enough time to check out the Kim video, but I'll agree with you about the first. Who the hell IS that guy? He is NOT a guy I would want to get onstage with. His speed is matched by musicality.

Here's that first video, using the embed function. The solo starts at 1:21. Give the guy a chance to surprise you; he keeps throwing new things into the mix as he plays on:



He gets honorable mention on my list.

Nice Kim Wilson clip too - but also check out the Curtis Salgado clips from the same show - not much harp, but what a singer! His albums are good but really don't do him justice

His name is Gyorgy Ferenczi, he is hungarian and seems to stick to funk,blues,soul and folky sytles.I have just got one of his albums,so I'll do a revue when it soaks in.
I agree Adam his licks are smoke'n and his approach hooks you in.

Funky! His jazzy / funky approach reminds me a bit of Lee Oskar and John Popper... later on in the solo he has some cool Sugar Blue like riffs too.
