Good article. I met Randy (the author, and head honcho of Lone Wolf Blues Company) at last year's SPAH. He is a soft-spoken, genuine, nice guy with a good deal of knowledge about electronics and what it means to build harp-specific stuff.

I agree, Greg. Randy is a good guy. After looking through web sites and message boards for weeks I used the info on his website to do the mods on my Epi VJr Amps. I used a couple of different values for the filter caps but followed the idea through. By following his website you can turn the VJr amps into the greatest little practice amps around. I used 2 linked to do some medium sized gigs and still had to mic the speaker to the PA to be heard, but great tone.

And if anyone wants hand held volume control See Greg. Mine's been used on Stage for the last Year and does everything needed. Has held up real well. Ok thats the extent of my shameless promotion.
