Somebody at a Jam I go to has posted a video on YouTube of me playing harp on a number.
Unfortunately the guy who was in charge of the jam seems to screw up the balance by messing with the PA during the number (you actually see him walk over and do this!).

My playing on it isn't great by any means but I did enjoy doing it.
The guy on guitar is sat down so you can't really see him. The girl singing is one of his guitar students, and he asked me up to play on the number as he felt the harp would add to the song.

Thanks guys.
Yes Jon, I figure the sound guy either doesn't like harp or doesn't like me, or is just plain stupid!

Sounds great! That sound man sucks... I'd take the mic out an give it a tight cup at that point- the heck with that sound man.

Hey! I think I know that "soundman"--doesn't he work the Shire in Arlington on Wednesday nights? Around here we call him the "Sandman."

Your playing did come through, though--good job jof backing the vocals--I especially liked the rhythm chop on the solo. . .

Thanks for the kind words guys.

I'm in the UK Oldwailer, but I suspect he has identical clones all over the world!

Hi Kingley , great job in the face of wirdy beardy being absolutley bloody rude ! harp still came through very well.
what is it with some people who always give harp players less respect than guitarists and singers , she was good but nothing spectacular,
An old trick i used to do at jam nights if i was through the PA was to roll back the volume on the harp mic . get a good volume what they let me play at , then when it was time to play a fill or a solo , wind the volume up with out them noticing and theres was bugger all they can do as the Idiot in charge was too far way to turn the mic down from the desk which was behing the band !
passing note , if they want to play dirty , Box clever!

Thanks Pauley.
