The subject line says it all. I wanted to find out more about the old fella and it drew a blank. Does anyone here fancy writing a brief biography of the man?

I don't know enough about him to write it myself (I mean, I *was* trying to find him on Wikipedia). However, I would be very happy to assist with the minor technical requirements of posting the article (in case you've got the knowledge but haven't contributed to Wikipedia before), or, say, to assist in stylistic matters to ensure the entry is in line with Wikipedia's general MO. But who on this forum is in a position to write a brief entry for Mojo Buford?

Cheers,
Murray

is Mojo alive or passed on?

He lived in Minneapolis when I was there. While I was never interested in his playing it was nice to chat with him and play with his band on occasion.

Buddha, I believe there's life in him yet -- certainly, I've not seen an obit.
