Can someone give me a side by side review and input on the two of these units? I've been researching the two and I found that one review said according to XY and Z the Two Timer needed the input impedance changed to 5k ohms I think it was. BBE said that the input isn't adjustable.

I use a Boss DM-2 for my delay.

Analog is infinitely nicer for harp to my ear than digital. It has a warmer more organic tone to it to my ear.
Most digital delays to me sound too cold and hard. The lone Wolf is a digital pedal that attempts to imitate the analog delay.

I got lucky and found a DM-2 in mint condition for a good price, but if I didn't have it I would buy the BBE Two Timer.

The BBE Two Timer is an analog delay that has 2 delays built in so is very versatile.

If your going to buy a new delay pedal then I'd recommend the BBE Two Timer as the best bang for your buck.

If you go for secondhand from ebay. I'd go with either a Boss DM-2 or Ibanez AD-9 for analog delays.

If you want to go digital then I'd recommend the Belcat DLY 303, it's super cheap (£20GBP approx $30USD!), is built like a tank and has a great delay sound.

If you want the joy of a super long delay then get a Boss DD3.

I recently switched from a Lone Wolf to a BBE Two Timer - while I prefer the sound and versatility of the BBE, does anyone else with experience of both find the unit tends to cause some feedback a little earlier than the Lone Wolf?
