Some mnemonics started to pop up in Zack's "music theory videos???" topic, so I thought a new thread was in order.
A while back I was trying to think of one for the Circle of Fifths. I Googled, but only came up with the "Father Charles ..." thing for the order of sharps and flats. I wanted one for the complete major key Circle of Fifths all the way around from C. Here's the best I could come up with, and it relates to MBH ;)...
Certain Guys Don't Actually Execute Bends. (s)Harp Friends (F#) Do (Db) Absolutely (Ab) Every (Eb) Blues (Bb) with Flats.
You still have to remember that everything after the F#/Gb is flattend, except the last F.
Can anyone top that? Or want to share any others you use or have come up with?

I never had any problem spelling the word "bead", then add G C F. I know that it's spelled counter clockwise on the circle and that C goes in the 12 o'clock position.
I have trouble remembering order of the minors, though. It seems simple enough, but I just can't remember to start "bead" at 2 o'clock, then start over after the F, but leave out the vowels.
Maybe I'll remember it now that I've written it like that... But now I need to remember Bb minor, D# minor, etc.
I can't remember what the sharp and flat notes are in the keys, but I can figure it out if I have pencil & paper.

I always count my circle of fifths. All I memorized are the #s and bs.
