My ears are playing tricks.

I'm listening to SBW II playing Good Evening Everybody, track 2 of the Nine Below Zero Compilation, SBLUECD049, and I can't work out what harp he's playing. Bits sound like Low F, 2nd postion; bits sound like C, 1st position. The tonal values of the midrange notes match those on my low F, but the low notes are totally different. I suppose you'll put it down to the echo vamper?

Hi Andrew,

The song is all played on a C harp (first position), holes 1-4.

Thanks, Jon. I was gradually veering to that conclusion, but it was a really tough one. Track 10 took a little bit of working out. He's playing in 3rd position on a C harp, but so sparingly that it takes a while to work it out.

And fattening Frogs etc needs an E harp, which I don't have. I guess he probably played it on an F harp, then they slowed the track down.
