oda, check out these sites. Absolutely fabulous blues scene in Toronto. Healey's is one of my favourites but the Silver Dollar room is always a packed house.

Hey guys,
XHarp has got some good ones there, but Peterborough (1 ½ hrs northeast of TO) where I live has a very nice and vibrant music scene, blues, jazz etc.. Almost every small bar and restaurant has some kind of musical entertainment, a bar called Dobro which is almost exclusively blues plus a monthly event, every first Saturday of the month, a big blues jam called Blues For Food where all the proceeds go to the local food bank (off for the summer, back in September).

@ChrisA A few years ago at the Kitchener Blues Fest I saw a harp player named Dave Mowat, http://www.myspace.com/davemowat, who lives near Peterborough. He was great. Apparently he plays around there a lot. Ever seen him? He's a guy who can play solo harp and sing and make it sound great.

Southside Shuffle early in Sept. in Port Credit is a great Blues Festival. Chuck Jackson from Downchild usually runs it. ---------- If it ain't got harp - it ain't really blues!!!!
