Hi guys, Carlos del Junco was at the Festival de Jazz de Montréal yesterday and I took this small clip with my camera. Hope you like it. I was able to chat a few seconds after with Carlos and he is a very nice guy.

The crowd was amazed hehe. There was a lot of people since The festival have like 4 simultaneous stages with different artists and a lot of things are going on at the same time so people walk down the street and check out the artists.

Hope you enjoy !

Thanks for posting this!

Carlos is simply amazing! He is one of the best harp players on the planet in my opinion.

The thing that gets me everytime about Carlos is that he never gives over to flashiness just for the sake of it.
Everything he does is so tasteful, he creates a groove and then adds flavour to it via seasoning the same way a great chef does.

He is one of a select few players on any instrument that I could listen to all day and never get bored of.

I only wish you had filmed the whole gig! I would love to have seen a lot more of it! :)

several people have asked me about the B-Thing tuning I offer for my harps... The tuning Carlos is using in the video is one developed by Kit Gamble who gave me the OK to offer it as well as others.

Many may not know but Kit Gamble is the mastermind behind many of Lee Oskar's special tunings.

I didn't know about Kit Gamble. Interresting stuff. This B-Thing tuning offers great possibilities on some songs.

Kingley, A guy heard your wish and filmed some other parts of the show that i found out today. Check them out. Carlos called the first one is Cartoon song.
