Anyone interested in forming a casual club in the Washington DC area? Let me know. I've been playing about 2 years, I have a friend that has been playing 25+ years and he is interested. Maybe meet once a month to hang out, exchange ideas/tips...see musicians coming to town, etc. And if we get enough members maybe we can convince Adam to stop by and give us a seminar when he does his summer tours. Anyway, I would suggest that you disguise that email address somehow...

It's kinda long drive but we already have a Harp Club up in Frederick MD. Takes me bout hour and 15 minutes to drive one way. I'm in Baltimore. I would think about 45 minutes for you from DC. Good group of guys with alot of contacts. We even had Adam in last year for a group session. We generally have 5-6 guest speakers throughout the year. you can probably find info on the web look up HOOPF or contact me for more info.
