After reading the blow bending thread of Mgimino I worked a little on my blow bends. I played this practice riff for about 10 minutes. At the end my tongue had a cramp...

The riff goes as follows: +9 +8' +8 +9 +7 +6* +6 -5 +5* +6 -4 -4' +4
Played with my trusted Bluesband in A.

While on the subject: We harp players pride ourselves with our tongue action. Does anybody else feel their tongue becoming noticeably stronger?

Regardless the temptation, let's try to keep this thread harp related... ;)

Thanks GH, been playing around with that riff, its good practice!

One thing I noticed after not playing around on the upper register for a while is how much 'harder' the blow bends are to pop in after doing a lot of overblow practice. The 4, 5 and 6 OB are almost like butter now, but I am now getting stuck on that 8 blow blend from time to time!
