I am a beginner. Is it me or does every harp I buy have lower reeds that sound like they have a paper clip rattling around in the harp? It's like the 1-3 holes have something loose in there. But it's every harp I have (I have about 5 now) so what's the dealio? Thanks for reading my post.

Is only when you blow or draw hard? If so it's the reeds hitting the coverplates. Unusual to get it on all 5 harps unless they are all lower keys.

When I'm not blowing, I'm drawing.

yo might want to loosen up the coverplates just a bit and, or check the gap and tighten it up a little if it's too wide.

My very low harps do it when I play very loud.

You better start playing softer or BBQ Bob will come in here to grill and smoke you and serve you with sauce.
