the harmonica festival was a huge success, the instructor whom i take lessons frm had arranged for me to do a song on the main stage ,i had no idea this was coming. So my instructor sang a Jimmy reeves song (not shure of the name ,i`ll find out later )we had a dude pick the 12 bar blues ,i used a C harp played in the key of G .I rocked the house Down,I got high 5`s frm my instructor & many of my piers, even a local pro (Little Dereck Cain frm little dereck & the hemo-blues band gave me a BIG high 5. even at the beech the next day ,i was stoped & ask if i was the same guy who played harp the night before . What a feeling, all the wood sheding payed off . Another young player on the stage was this blind 8yr old boy ,who started playing piano @ 3yrs ,starting harp a year or so ago had good talant (rockinrorey.com )chech him out.So another great weekend in Atlantic Canada.thanks guys The frozen canuck

'I had no idea this was coming'
I bet you had the biggest adrenalin rush of your life canuck!? Now you know what performing's like there will be no stopping you..your instructor judged your ability spot on apparently.
Remember playing in front of an audience is two seperate things:
Firstly the music you played, and secondly the performance, after all you are there to entertain and give them a good time, which is all about your confidence when you are looking at that expectant sea of faces. Well done, and keep on enjoying yourself.

You should go to open mic's and jam sessions to get into the groove of playing live in front of an audience. I do at least 2 a week if no band rehearsal; its easy to feed that 'addiction'!!
