if you had to narrow this down to a specific name what would you call it? buddah posted this in the other thread, an i have lots of songs like this, and it realy is one of my favorite styles of music but im not sure what to lable it as. words that come to mind would be like a south bayou swamp blues bluegrass louisianna hoodoo man type music.

very elemental roots for sure. that drummer is right in tune with what the material needs. very swampy and spooky!

I don't know, but I'll ask the frogs that live in the pond behind my parents house. They play the same kind of music when your trying to sleep! But seriously, is he using some kind of mic as a slide? Dumb question! I've just never seen that before. Cool stuff.

Don't know how to call it, but reminds me of early Dr.John, when he called himself "The Night Tripper". With a slight touch of Beefheart, maybe.

"Swamp Blues" would be a good name for it, I think.
