Check out his harp in this photo (p.71 of David Morton's book for a clearer image).

It's in what looks like a metal hot-dog bun. Anyone know what it is?

Hard to tell because the photo resolution is so low you cannot zoom in well. However, from the shape I think it is a Hohner Echophone, which was a regular diatonic with a clip on horn to amplify it.

Hey Dave...what is the harp wedged inside an echophone? It doesn't look like any of Hohners other harps.
