Kelvin Ng from Singapore here. I posted some youtube clips of my band Skunk Jive recently.

Just done up my Myspace page with our own tracks. Tracks 1, 3, 5 and 7 have heavily amplified harp. Have a listen.

For the amp fiends, the harp on tracks 1,5 and 7 were done with a reissue brown Vibroverb. Let me know what you think of the tone!

I like your tone.
How loud are you playing that vibroverb?
If you're getting that tone at lower volumes the vibroverb may be an option for a single guitar / harp amp that i've been looking for.

I think it was at 3 on the normal channel.

It sounds really good for guitar if you like that 60s retro guitar sound. The reverb and tremolo are to die for.

Hey nice sounds!
I have the same amp and am thinking of using it for harp.
Just out of interest, do you still have the stock Oxford speakers or have they been replaced with something else? The accepted wisdom is that the original speakers were not very good.

Also, do you swap the first preamp valve for less gain?

Thanks. I blew the original speakers and replaced them with reissue Jensen C10Rs.

The preamps have not been swapped for lower gain.

Thanks for posting this. After seeing this and hearing your tone, I found a 63 Vibroverb reissue and LOVE it. It's exactly what I've been looking for.
Great tone for both harp and guitar, not too heavy, loud enough for blues jams with loud guitarists.
I've been experimenting with tubes and I'm liking 12AY7s in the reverb return and the phase inverter.
I will post some video soon I hope.

Cool. Glad you like yours. It's a great harp amp.

Let us know how you sound through yours.
