Yeah! Me too lumpy.
Trouble is I think the others on here see us as a bit of a threat.
Already had Jagger on the blower asking if I could fill in for a concert. Trouble is it's for his grandchildren and he stipulates I should wear a funny hat, red nose and clown baggies.
I'm tempted. Probably the only gig I'll get.

Seriously though. I thought there would be zillions of entries to HPC2, and was a bit disappointed that more folks didn't join in. I know there are some pretty tasty players on the board who didn't enter. That Gussow bloke's not bad. Just joking, Doc!
I imagine that as more people get used to the camera, more will join in next time. Having said that, as soon as I hit 'record' I still turn into a quivering wreck.

"as soon as I hit 'record' I still turn into a quivering wreck". I did at first but I think I've got over that hurdle now. Just so long as I don't have to talk. I thought it would take ages to conquer that fear. My biggest concern is how much memory I use up. I don't know why I worry about it, I've 650 Gigabytes to play with which is plenty enough. I've even resorted to black and white to conserve bytes. It's the miser in me.
Yes it is a shame there were not more participants, the video/YouTube process may be daunting for some and have something to do with it, even though a soundfile would have been acceptable.
Hopefully the HPC profile will have been raised amongst some of the forum members and they will see that it's a good way to get some of their stuff out there too. It would be good to hear what they've got.
Apart from the technical guides in the link at the top of the forum front page, the people on here are only too happy to try and help where possible.
Fingers crossed. Next time we'll get some more big hitters involved and make more of an impression on YouTube. I'm sure Christelle's presence helped a little bit and got her followers looking in.

Oh sorry lumpy, see what you mean. Van Gogh only ever sold one painting in his lifetime, because people didn't understand his art at that time. You can rest assured that the kids will be getting down to your groove in the future but the bummer is, you won't be alive to see it.

but also some useful comments from Dutchbones. on listening again I can see what he means about not keeping in time in a couple of phrases.
