Interesting....I wonder if the two kinds of harp forum members theory would correlate to the two kinds of blues jammer.
The first type, eases in, evaluates who's running the show, figures out the protocol, the ground rules, the in-place network and might spend a couple of jams showing they have some sort of idea of what they are doing before requesting a stage spot.
The second type wants on the stage within ten minutes of walking through the door and "what the f&*^*& do you mean I might not get on tonight, do you know who the *$^#% I am? You can't treat me like that, I'll see no one in this $#%% town ever plays at your little jam again!!" [Note: true story! ]
