Has anybody ued this and how well does it work? I've heard alot about these tuners and so far the free tuners online don't seem to work too well on my laptop

Yeah, I have a couple of cheapie software tuners too--when I got the Peterson one, I put them alongside each other on the screen and tuned a guitar--my first impression was that the browser one was pretty close--but I found that the Peterson reacts much faster and in a more stable manner--it has become my favorite.
I think you can download a free one to test it out on your computer--since the computer is part of the machine, it might not work the same in all cases. . .

Thanks O.W. After I posted I decided to give the Online tuner one more shot, fiddled with it and I have it running pretty well. going to test it's accuracy tonight.
