ok, so today i traded an old nylon string guitar for this harmonica.. and i would like some help finding out what it is worth.. to me, it is worth more than the guitar.. as i dont play guitar.. i searched the web a bit with minimal info. i have the harp, the (vinal?) case(not sure if it came with it) and the manual. if its only worth $20, so be it. im just curious.. so im turning to you for some help and/or direction. here are the picks

Looks interesting. Not unlike a Hohner Super Chromonica. Similar bits ie slide/ mouthpiece.
To get some expert opinions you could visit slidemiester.com which is a site devoted to the chromatic harp. I'm sure your find will prove of interest and open up a lot of responses.

thanks aussie, i am looking there now, and i guess kratt stopped making harps in the 1960's!! or so that is what a guy said there... will drop in more info when i find it...

You might get $40, if it works. They are good harps. They have this ingenious nail... it's a nail that goes in plastic, again and again. The plastic is Bakelite, I believe. Kratt stopped in the 70s, but stopped making chromatics long before that, probably the 1950s. Kratt sold a lot of harps during World War II, when Hohners weren't avaialable.
Just a side note, I am set up to repair Kratt chromatics, if somebody has a Kratt that needs repaired.
