I recently picked up a Kay 703 and was wondering if this mic, along with proper cupping and playing technique will give me the fat Chicago blues tone I'm looking for. Thanks in advance for any help!

A good Shure Hi-Z Controlled Magnetic element in most any mic shell will sound good and get ya the tone your looking for. Add a little delay with a pedal and you should be pleased with your sound.
