Here's a live off the board recording off the Jason Ricci band from 09/18/09 for $9.99 downloaded MP3. It kicks ass and is worth the money, 62 minutes of Ricci's band live.

That sounds awesome. (I hope Jason gets some of the $9.99)

Cool. Looks like they(?) have Cd form too?

I wonder who set this up? I find it interesting that someone is charging to download live music from his band when you can get plenty of shows downloaded for free.

One can easily find legal free download for their show at Blues & Greens on 09/16/09 just two days before. Or the one at Blues & Greens on 09/20/09, just two days after. Or plenty of other shows from past dates.

So, I'm curious who is making the money off of this & why when there are so many legal free downloads of JR&TNB, approved by Jason himself, is this one more special?

If you check the web site you'll see that they have live recordings of most of the bands that played at the Telluride Blues Festival - and ALL recordings are directly from the mixing console board and NOT from someone's hand held recorder out in the audience. Durung the festival immediately after each show they sell the CDs for $20 and yes the artists get a big cut of each CD. So if you want a high quality recording where cash goes back to JC then please purchase these recordings.

Oh good to know! Thanks for answering my questions. Only other one would be what songs were on the set as the site doesn't seem to list.
