My attempt at the great classic. I have done better but whatever. Any constructive comments would be helpful. Especially with regard to smoothness when tongue blocking.
Good job dude, i really liked watching that. It's reminded me to go back to those lessons and give whammer jammer another go. I would try slowing it down a tad if anything. But you did a great job. Thanks for posing. ----------

One thing I would do differently - to everyone I've heard play it, not just you - is treat it purely as a solo, that is, if I were playing it solo.
I'm talking about the passages towards the end that do that call and response stuff with the band; there is no band. If it were played that way on the street, it wouldn't make sense.
Still, I'm not trying to criticise your performance. I think you did a great job. I'm just making that observation about the piece when it is played solo. ---------- YouTube SlimHarpMick

I had a stab at tabbing the whole song. You might find it a helpful reference resource. http://www.harpsurgery.com/?p=29
One detail to watch is that opening trill. Try substituting it with the tongue flutter technique (I am referring to the first video). Play draw holes 2-3-4-5 but rapidly 'dab' holes 3-4 with your tongue, blocking them on-off-on-off with the end of your tongue. You should feel the divider between holes 3-4 with the tip of your tongue and use this as your target/anchor point.
In effect you are quickly switching between the E7 draw chord on holes 2-3-4-5, and the 4 hole split on draw holes 2-5 (E and D).
From the second video (in the bathroom) you sound like a whole new player. Think you may have already found that flutter.
Happy harping!
