This news just in from Blind Raccoon:
2009 Blues Music Award Harmonica winner [harmonica player] Billy Gibson and Dave Fields are going to Norway, October 22 through to November 2, to perform at the Svarlsbard Dark Season festival and The Norwegian Blues Cruise with JT Lauritsen.
Billy will also join Dave and his band at the following NY/NJ gigs:
Dec 4 at 12 Grapes Peekskill NY
Dec 5 at Jimmy's Rock Cafe Moonachie NJ
Dec 6 at Alor Cafe Staten Island NY

Those will be great gigs. 'Course Billy is playing at Gip's Juke on Nov. 28th. Can't wait to see him there!

Bob, I'll see ya at Gip's. Can't wait for this show. Gibson will be playing with Little G Weevie who is very entertaining. Should be an great show. They got some vids on you tube. Guy's, if your within a couple hundred miles of this place, it would be worth the drive to come. Very few honest to goodness juke joints left in the south. This place is real special. If interested, I'll post directions and give you a cold beer when you arrive.
