Ok - I have had the Harp Attack a few weeks and have been playing straight to the PA. First let me say I may never carry an amp to a club gig again. If I do it will be for monitor use only. Which is very easy to do using the Behringer split channel DI box.

This rig kicks arse.. You get real tube overdrive, good bottom end and clean highs. It covers everything I need it to. I don't strive for the real deep brown Chicago sound just a little wet color and this is the perfect rig for what I do. I had been playing with a pedal board that is all Boss DD3>BD2>GE7 and I really like it but, need to carry whatever amp I was going to use. Like I said if I am going to play a club or smaller, no amp needed. If I need to go larger I will use my other rig or I will run through the Harp Attack into my other rig.

Grab my case and I am out the door
Gotta get them wimens dancin'on the floor
Me and that Harp Attack we gonna blow
plug me into that PA man and watch me go

Don't ya just love new toys. :)

But I really like carrying a 61 lb amp up stairs with my gig bag full of mics, pedals and cables and wireless

I used a Danelectro EQ, Boss DM-2 and a BBE Sonic Stomp direct into the PA last week and it sounded ok. It was a little too distorted when cupped tight, but I just need to spend some more time fine tuning it and getting the PA settings right.

I'm quite interested in the Harp Attack pedal myself. Gets some great reviews and I love the portability factor.

Kingley -- You have nothing to lose, money back guarantee from Lone Wolf. I think you would like it. You can really tell that it is tube driven.

Disclaimer - I have no affiliation with Lone Wolf just a satisfied customer ;p

I just found out that Harmonicas Direct in the UK are gonna be stocking Lone Wolf pedals. So I have sent an email asking them for prices, etc.

The HA is a great pedal. All of Randy's offerings have merit, depending on your application. I own the Delay V2 and the Octave(Really, this should be called 'The Balls" pedal, because the octave effect is hardly noticeable)and have been kicking around getting a small amp such as a Valve Jr...but the Harp Attack puts out-seriously. If you do most of your playing in clubs, especially smaller ones where the stage is already crowded with other people and all their equipment, and you walk in with this little gem and get respectable tone that sounds like it MUST be coming from a little amp, and all without hauling an amp at all, it seems like an obvious choice.

I would love to get both the V2 and the HA very soon--just have to afford it first. I'm not posting this clip for advertisement, though, I just really like the solo Randy does to demonstrate:

Has anyone compared the Harp Attack to the Harp Break direct into a PA?

I'd be interested in hearing the reviews if anyone has.

I could only imagine that since the Break doesn't have the tube in it like the Attack, it will seriously lack warmth. I've heard the Harp Break thru a little tube amp which already had a warm tone, but was pretty clean, until the Break was turned on, then the player got the 'clip'.
