I have been playing shuffles until they are coming out my eyeballs. I can no longer think straight, so I need your help.

Could you give me some names of blues standards that are not shuffles that I may work on something different?

Preferably something I might/would need to know at a Jam, as I am trying to fill out the void in my song repertoire.

Kingo,

Off the top of my head, I can't think of anything. My mind's a blank. But, how about just re-working a lot of your shuffle stuff into straight time?

Oh yeah, I've just remembered. I've started to tinker with Johnny B Good - steal it from those pesky guitarists!

That opening riff starts on ~4(3), which I expect you know anyway.

Listen to any cd by Jean Jaques Milteau for inspiration away from the shuffle groove
