Those guy's were just great! Thanks for posting that! Blues riffs with a country twang... The riff is not fancy, but it fits the song very well. Sounds like a -1 -2bb -2 -3b riff, and he hits the -3b with hard vibratto. The solo was really great too. These guy's are going on my amazon wishlist for sure!

I got a chance to sit down and talk with Dustin Arbuckle after there set at our local Blues Fest. We talked about his rig and style of playing. He was a very intersting and talented guy.

Yeah, baby, roots-rocky-blues (grass)---whatever; love the young genre benders. Not over polished. Saw them at an outdoor blues fest in K.C. Totally forgot to follow up---so extra thanks.

Any guitar player that wears tie-dyed T-shirt is okay with me. Seriously, nice groove, good raspy pipes, sold. I'd play cowbell with this guys any time---cigar box guitar, too.

A certain early Bob Seager flavor at the live show? But it might have been the beer...

rabbit, is that you? Solo was pretty good, pretty good indeed. I like that 3 draw alan wilson warble and the butterfield moan at 2:26 haha. Did these guys play bluesfest in chicago? I swear I've heard of them before but I have no idea where from or when...maybe I'm just being psychic again, I hate it when this happens.

It sounds like the main riff is 2d 2d" 1d 2d. There's another little riff he adds after it periodically that sounds something like 4b 3d' 2d(he does plenty of other stuff as well, of course). I try to remind myself that you don't always have to play something that's technically difficult as long as you play tastefully and have good rhythm. He plays the same riff with different rhythmic variations and it makes it interesting. It's on an A harp if anyone wants to play along.

Hey ryan thats how i play the riff 2d 2d" 1d 2d / 4b 3d' 2d on an A harp i think there is a 3-6 blow octive every so often but i could be wrong. He's a mean harp player and up there with the rest of em, check out their albums, you wont regret it!!!

Is Rabbit the harp player?
If so i hope he's not offended that i put up the video,i just thought you guy's need to check em out.

Simple, yet affective, I like it! I must be getting good at this, had the right key of harp and was nearing the same riff Ant & Ryan speak of before reading the posts :) .
