I was thinking of getting one for Memphis, but I am a little scared to. Will this thing ever let me use my amp again or will it not be that incredible? Maybe it'd be cool for Jams and practices? I don't want to forget about my HarpGear though...

Maybe the HarpBreak would be good as it drives an amp? I want the amp to have its distortion if I use it...

I don't think you have any worries there Zack. A HarpGear amp is pretty hard to beat! :-)

I figured that. We bought the HarpAttack. Why have a distortion pedal without a tube? :-D

Well, Zack-I am getting one and selling my amp, but I don't have a Harp Gear. I don't think you'll fall out of love with that amp, but you will dig the HA for what it is. One issue, albiet minor, with the Harp Attack is the lack of machismo, i.e, you'll hear this pretty good tone that seems like it must be coming from an amp, but when you turn around, there's no amp. The traditionalists who claim you must have such-and-such a setup will balk. But there are much bigger things to concern yourself with than that. I plan on getting a SS keyboard or bass amp to use at home where I don't own a PA, or possibly as a monitor, which may fill the void left by no harp amp. Randy Landry is a great, honest guy and is straight-forward. Email or call him with your concerns.

I bought the harp delay. If I'm not mistaken you have 60 days to return it if you don't like it. Now it must be in good shape and not beat up for a return. Check with them to make sure.

I have a Harp Attack and love it. I use it to play into the pa and through a DI box I split the signal to go to my amp for a monitor. Works great. If I don't want to carry my amp I don't need to. Jusy play diret into the board.

Do you have any sound clips? How does it sound compared to an amp?

I will have clips soon. We recorded last night. I played both mics with and without amps. When I have them ready I will share them with you.

That looks like a case from Harbor Freight. Great case that's really cheap, and you can pull the foam to customize it for your gear.

I got the HarpAttack. WOW. I put it through my HarpGear and it makes it SO distorted, like more than anyone I've heard. I'm definitely loving it. Through the P.A.??? IT works GREAT.
