yes, SM57. Jaw, I bought the HG50, seriously. It took me a year and a half but I did it. The HarpAttack was my Mom's idea. I'm going to the IBC and I can't bring the HG50. Scary thing is, this thing sounds almost as good as the HG50 except not as distorted (which makes me wanna keep the HG50!!! lol).

Hey Good for you Z - You will blow them away in Memphis - I can't watch the vid (dial up) I'm this close to ordering the Harp Attack - I'm getting tired of fiddling around. Have you noticed a big difference between Lo z and Hi z mics with the Harp Attack. Does it handle Lo z well? ---------- If it ain't got harp - it ain't really blues!!!!

Damn Zack, I might have to make a 5-hour trek to Mempho to see you in January-post the schedule when you know it.
In reference to the distortion, have you tried the Harp Break? That would allow you to dirty it up more...your mom's gonna hate me. :-) ---------- Crescent City Harmonica Club www.myspace.com/harpboytodd www.myspace.com/crescentcityharmonicaclub www.myspace.com/am540

Well, I saw that but I wanted to use the real tube :D It's dirty enough I think, ahahaha. It does handle Lo-Z VERY well.

No, Zack, not as an alternative;in the chain with the HA, before would be best, I would think. Give ya that extra distortion you want. ---------- Crescent City Harmonica Club www.myspace.com/harpboytodd www.myspace.com/crescentcityharmonicaclub www.myspace.com/am540

Nice job Zack - I still am waiting for a copy of our recorded session to be e-mailed to me. Looks and sounds like you made the plunge into the Harp Attack. Good for ya.. ---------- "I have a high tolerance for boredom as long as it has a groove" - Scrapboss
