I had a purchase confirmation in my yahoo e mail on monday morning from Amazon for 2 Sony camcorders priced at £535 for delivery to me at an address in London.
I had not bought these and had not been on the Amazon site for weeks.
That certainly kickstarted my morning I can tell you.
Anyway I phoned Amazon and fortunately they had not delivered them so they cancelled the order. They said i must have been using a public computer and had not signed out which is rubbish.
I also told the police and complained to Yahoo that someone had been using my e mail to fraudulently make purchases and all they do is send an automated reply.

Does anyone have any idea how this can happen? It's certainly put me off buying on-line.
