Has anyone purchased a marineband 364? the red paint on the comb began chipping off in my mouth after about a week - has anyone else had this problem? i'm trying to return it to hohner for another harp instead at this point

i've had one for maybe 17-18 years at this point and not had this problem. you may have gotten one that the paint didn't cure out well or something like that.

I still have a 365 since I first bought it in 1973 and it's still going strong. I bought a second one as a back up in the mid 80's and it was terrible and needed a lot of tweaking.
If you just recently bought it, make sure you have a copy of your receipt and then send it back to Hohner explaining the problem and let them deal with it, especially if it's under warranty.

I'ver got two 365's--both needed some tweaking, so I sealed the comb and put screw in--of course, once you sand and seal the combs--the paint is no longer even there. I love the sound of that 365 in C--Bye Bye Bird time. . .

hrmm, it's really quite odd then if noone else is having this problem. I guess i'll just have to wait for Hohner's reply. Thanks for the advice!
