i just built my 1st stompbox using a wood cigar box and a small mic and couple egg rattles. Its pretty cool sounding though a little fender with a touch of reverb.Im not to good with it but.It seems like if a person could get good with one it would add a new demension to there sound.Plus learning how to keep a steady beat with one got to help.Anyone here likes to play with a stompbox?

I would like to try one out... what about a video showing your little construction?

I built a stomper using the directions I got at this site:
http://www.tomdukich.com/stomp%20box.html

I put the speaker inside, didn't use carpet, (yet), and I used a 1/4" jack to plug a regular guitar cord into--it works great--just a louder version of tapping your foot. . .

I liked Adams' Farmer drum and shaker pedals he uses now when busking, bought the tamborine pedal, if I like it might consider adding a stompbox. Not sure I want the big drum.
