As an aside,

I may be alone in this thought but I see chromatic harmonica as a totally different animal to diatonic harmonica. While it has many similarities I argue that any two brass horn instruments have similarities as well.

I used to see the late, great classical/pop chromatic virtuoso Larry Adler do this on a chromatic harmonica.
