Well, there's a few Facebook groups, a few very worthwhile YouTube channels, and the MBH forum. Where else do you find harp players online? (I'm talking about social networks, not websites where there's no audience participation.) The MBH forum seems like the only really happening harp forum out there... at least, that I've seen.
Does anyone know of other active forums?

If you also play chromatic, this one might be worth a try: http://www.slidemeister.com/

Well, of course there's harp-l. But then harp-l is not a forum but a mailing list.
And then there's the Bushman Forum.
I agree with you, Elwood. Not only is it "the only really happening harp forum out there", it's constantly growing. More and more pro's are posting here and of course there's the endless stream of beginners that come here motivated by Adams priceless YT videos.

Ok, this is only tangentially related, but does anyone know anything about doing map mashups? It would be great to actually be able to put little pins on an online map to show where different harpsters are.

I just started a new thread with a link that may or may not let us do this with Google maps. Let me know if it works. This could be great for finding other people around.

There are others like the one hosted by Coast To Coast Music called Harp Talk. One word of warning if you do go on the Slidemeister site, do not mention anything that has to do with diatonic harmonicas and avoid the gear stuff (mics, amps, effects) at all costs because they will bounce you out.

Bob, they have boards for diatonic harps and for gear at Slidemeister. A lot of stuff I've learned there is useful for any kind of harp.
