Hey GH, that sounded really nice. I can see you are going off at a tangent in your musical discoveries (like me too). It's good to explore all the different possibilities and allows us to develop and grow. Well done Sir.

that was cool kinda bluesy German folk.Wow that was a very interesting style you got.Ive been wanting to get my niece a melodica for christmas.

@t2: Yup, European folk music... there's a lot to discover. What's the "tangential" musical style you're off too?

@Hobostubs, it's rather the french chanson that I was going for. Last month a friend and I went on a road trip through Poland and Slovakia and we had a soundtrack CD of "Amelie" with us. Thats somehow where the inspiration came from (at least for the backing track).

The idea of the melodica came when I saw a couple of guys jammin some raggae tune with it. And damn it, it was awesome!

Something like this, just less complex.
