I'm going to be in NYC Sunday the 22nd and Monday the 23rd (possibly the 24th as well...)

Any ideas on where to catch some good blues? I'm sure that there's plenty.

Terra Blues. Maybe Arthur's Tavern.

Email Dave Fields, the blues guitarist, and ask. He just had a fantastic column in Big City Blues (the magazine) in which he talked about twenty different clubs, some of them in Hoboken and Staten Island. Many jam sessions and open mics. Amazing stuff. Ask him to copy and paste the info into an email. Or have him sign on and do that here. It was the single best piece of reporting on the NYC blues scene, in terms of clubs and jam sessions, that I've ever seen. Please tell him I said that!

OK. Done. I'll let you know if/when he replies. Thanks Adam.
