Musicians Friend has this kit http://folk-instruments.musiciansfriend.com/navigation/harmonicas-folk-traditional-world-instruments?N=100001+336217+203760 5 Lee Oskars, 1 Hohner 270, a Blues Blaster and a case for $220 no tax no shipping. No affiliation Blah blah blah just a very satisfied customer.

well personally i think the case is a good case if it's the same one i got last year with a 5 harp purchase. frankly the lee oskars are not up to snuff for me. there are much better harps for the same $$. over many years i've heard plenty about the leakiness and slide difficulties of the hohner 270, for that reason i went to hering chromatics and plan to try out a much more accessible chro soon.
the bluesblaster was a substandard mic even in its heyday, in fact i was once GIVEN one by a guy who despised to dry tone it produced. i in turn gave it to someone else who put a good element in it and made it into a good hi-z mic.
here's a dream kit: 5 suzuki manji harps, a suzuki 12 hole chromatic, a vintage bullet mic with crystal or cm element. and that same case which is a pretty good case. but don't expect to get all that for $220.
if you bought that, best of luck with it.

My dream kit would need a suitcase to lug around. Actually, I've been trying to find this old antique suitcase I have (or had). I think it's in storage somewhere. Short of that, I wish they made Pucks in more keys and with a smoother lip.

since i have the amps and mics i want/need/love, that's moot.
and sure i guess if we're dreaming, i want 2 harps- a diatonic and a chromatic, both indestructible and able to change keys on demand. and a diamond encrusted case to tote them in. and a security gal to guard them.

My dream kit would not only include harps mics delay pedals tube amps a truck to carry it all. It would also allow me to be able to play like Paul Butterfield and Little Walter at will. But then it would take all the fun out of learning!

Good Morning Gentlemen,
It is not dream kit, but it is a good deal.Lee Oskars are good long lasting harps I still have a pile w/ the flat boxes ,the lids on the boxes are breaking but the harps are still good. Some have been worked on but they are still whaling. $150 The Blues Blaster was just a rebadged JT30/CAD50vc, luck of the draw on crystals. It is not a terrible mic. If you have a low output crystal you still have a classic shell that will hold just about any other element you can find. $84 This my first 270 but I dont find it to be excessively leaky. The tone is on par w/ my Hering Musselwhite. I dont love the mouthpieces square holes. $138
The case is nice I would have liked to see double latches on it, but its holding 2 chroms 24 loose harps a mic a zoom h2, misc cables a repair kit and an ipod. $40.
That adds up to $412 of merch for $220. My dream kit would be a CBH 12 holer, a T3 w/ a cr element and a full set of those B-radicals :)

point taken silver. i got the deal myself on 5 LO's and the case, $150, about a year ago. i do not like the LO's much but had to play them for a while to be sure. they have given me a year of service and none are blown out yet, i just don't much care for the tuning.
my case holds about what yours does albeit several flavors of diatonics and a couple of hering 48's, along with a reapir kit and a mic or 2. the deal was, basically i got a case free with the purchase of 5 LO's.
