This Topic is not meant to raise another discussion aboout
weather the new B-Radical harmonica is or isn't worth such and such price. OR ANYTHING to that nature, so PLEASE HATERS leave this thread NOW. Thanks.

NOW THEN:
I just wanted to share the experience i've had with Michael Peloquin over at Harrison Harmonicas.com while dealing with my B-Radical pre-order.

FIRST a few months back, i placed a normal pre-order for a B-Radical in the Key of D. no biggie.
Paid via paypal.
Then i got a wild hair in me, whipped out the ole' credit card and decided to pre-order 2 ADDITIONAL harps in keys of A & C.
Michael emailed me back personally to ENSURE I WOULDN'T be charged for additional shipping. Nice eh?

THEN, i decided, I'm nuts, i'll never be able to afford 3 of these badboys right now!!!! I'm broker than i've ever been in my whole life!!
So, i email back Michael and tell him to change the Order back to 1 harp in the key of D and to just apply the extra payment towards that.
Emails me back promptly, no problem.

Then, i freak out late one night and decide, man i've made a mistake, I should have gotten the key of A if i can only have one harp, better get A.
Email Michael back again, fixes the order, no problem fast.

AND FREAKIN' THEN, i change my mind of course and decide dang' I'd better get a D harp if i can only get one because i've been having a lot of trouble getting good D harps off the shelf lately.
Michael fixes that, this whole time not even making a snide remark of how crazy i am or how much trouble i'm causing him for nothing.

(I even want to say that i may have had him change the order back to A and then back to D a second time!?)

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST AT ALL.
Just YESTERDAY mind you, I emailed Michael back to inform him that i'm very low on cash and will have to put my order on hold.
NOT ONLY this morning did i have a PayPal refund in my email box for the Amount i've paid over the initial $35, i also was given an offer until MARCH of 2010 that if I order a B-Radial by then, my first $35 will still go towards the order AND I still will receive the $20 discount on the Harp!

Now if that is not some good customer service then i don't really know what is. But people, this is a company you WANT to deal with, trust me!
So if you've got the $$$ on hand, make sure to spend some of it with these guys at harrisonharmonicas.com !
I plan to save up and try to make the deadline myself.

Thanks Michael P. and thank you Harrison Harmonicas !
You have helped me out more than you know.
Yours Truly,
Richard " Daddy Rich " Crisman

Hey Clarksdale! Thank you so so much for posting this. So often it's only the negative reviews that garner press and reviews. I appreciate very much you taking the time to write this here for Michael, Brad and myself.
Thank you Sir.

Hell, I wanted to slap you, and I was just rereading your account of what happened! LOL.

I can't justify spending that much on a harp right now though. I got a chromatic for my birthday and I'm waiting on an order from elk for a LLF harp, meanwhile my computer is on it's last legs, my emergency fund for my car is low and I've still got spare parts harps to practice customizing. I wish I could afford one.

when i was placeing the order for my b-radical i was sitting at the screen where you choose what key. i was hold a C harp and a Bb. i was playing the same licks on both harps over an over again for like 20min. then i choose the Bb.

I made one edit as i saw that i had misspelled a word as i was hitting the post button.
Um in the morning, what is morning??? I have 2 day jobs and gig at night, then when i get home i have to usually get up with my 1 year old, so i'm not really sure when that is :)
I guess now i can finally afford that second change of clothes i always wanted though. Not many people here in Clarksdale, MS own 2 OutFits! The neighbors at the apartment are gonna be trying to break in now that they see how much money i have.
Any sorry again to those of your who have been trying to get those orders in, i promise not to tie up the customer service department again, i swear.
Alrighty then, my work here is done, thanks everyone for participating.

well now that i know i can change it so easy...

but the reason i picked the Bb is cause i like the way it sounds/plays over other keys. i also like the C key an i wanted to get the C cause its a little harder to get over blows an certain bends. i had to do a little reed work on mine to get it to play right. so i wanted to get the C to test out how great the B-Rad really is. but in the end i figured its better to spend $180 to enjoy it more rather then for a test. i guess if i really wanted to test it out i should get the key of F.

I love the sound of a Bb harp, but from the experience I had with several blues bands, they almost never play in the key of F, so I always play my Bb alone...

At the contrary, my A and D harps are overused and need to be replaced frequently.

That harp looks really cool, but there are NO details as to the construction materials, reeds or reed materials or anything else that make it so great. I am sure it is as advertised, but as a gear head I would need to see DETAIL.
